"Pilot Program"

Get Your Podcast Out of "Someday" Mode Without Committing to a Monthly Plan

Get Your Podcast Out of “Someday” Mode Without Committing to a Monthly Plan

Setup Just My Podcast and the First Episode

Most people who want a podcast do not need another motivational speech.

They already understand the upside. A podcast can build authority, open doors to better relationships, create useful content, and give prospects a chance to hear how they think before ever booking a call.

The problem is everything between "I should start a podcast" and an actual published episode.

Which recording platform should you use? How do guests schedule? Where do the files go? How do you track episodes? What podcast host should you choose? And once you finally record something, who edits it and turns it into a real episode?

Those small decisions pile up until the podcast gets pushed back another week, another month, or another year.

That is exactly why I created the DFY Podcast Pilot Program.

A Low-Risk Test Drive,
Not a Cheap Discount

The Pilot is a focused, one-time setup and production sprint for someone who is genuinely interested in podcasting but is not ready to commit to a monthly service before seeing how the process works.

For $250 one time, we help build your basic podcast workflow, walk you through the key tools, and professionally produce your first episode.

You get to experience the process before deciding whether podcasting deserves a permanent place in your business.

There is no monthly commitment attached to the Pilot. If you decide the timing is wrong, you still leave with a clearer system, practical experience, and one finished episode.

Here Is What We Set Up Together

1. Your Podcast Plan

We begin with a setup and planning call to clarify what you want the podcast to accomplish.

You might want to interview clients, referral partners, vendors, authors, industry experts, or people you have wanted an excuse to contact. You might prefer solo teaching episodes, guest interviews, or a combination of both.

We will identify a practical starting direction without trapping you in weeks of branding exercises and overthinking.

2. Your Recording and Scheduling Workflow

We walk you through the basic infrastructure that makes podcasting repeatable:

  • Riverside walkthrough for recording audio and video
  • Calendly walkthrough for guest scheduling
  • Podcast host walkthrough, such as Buzzsprout
  • Google Drive folder setup for recordings and production files
  • Guest sharing folders for finished links and assets
  • Episode tracking sheet so you know what is recorded, in production, approved, and published
  • Basic production workflow showing what happens after you stop recording

You do not need to become an expert in these tools. You only need a clean process you can follow again.

3. Your First Produced Episode

You record one episode and send us the raw file.

My team will turn it into a finished podcast episode with:
  • Basic audio and episode editing
  • A usable episode title
  • A clear episode description
  • Basic show notes

This gives you a real test of the DFY Podcast experience:

You record the conversation. We handle the production.

Your Job Is Simpler Than You Think

You do not need to become a broadcaster, editor, designer, or podcast technician.

Your job is to choose a useful topic or guest, show up prepared, and have a worthwhile conversation. Our job during the Pilot is to help put the rails underneath that process and show you what happens after you hit stop.

That is the entire idea. The Pilot gets your podcast out of your head and into motion.

What Happens After the Pilot?

Once your first episode has been produced, I will recommend the most sensible next step based on your recording plans.

Starter Podcast: $500/month

Best if you want a steady publishing schedule with up to 8 produced episodes per month.

Growth Podcast: $800/month

Best if you want unlimited episode production, batch recording, frequent interviews, or a larger content pipeline.
You are not required to choose either option.

But if you continue with a monthly DFY Podcast plan within 7 days of completing the Pilot, your full $250 Pilot payment is credited toward your first month.

That means:

  • The $500 plan would require only the remaining $250 for your first month.
  • The $800 plan would require only the remaining $550 for your first month.

The Pilot is not money thrown away. It becomes part of your first monthly payment if you decide to continue promptly.

Who This Is For

The DFY Podcast Pilot Program makes sense if you:

  • Have wanted to start a podcast but keep delaying the setup
  • Have an old show you would like to revive
  • Want to interview clients, partners, or experts
  • Have a book, framework, service, or point of view worth discussing
  • Want to test podcasting before committing monthly
  • Do not want to learn editing and production yourself
  • Need a workflow, not another pile of podcast advice

It is especially useful if your podcast has been living in "someday”"mode because the technical details make the project feel larger than it needs to be.

What This Pilot Is Not

The Pilot is intentionally focused.

It is not a complete branding package, custom website build, full social media management campaign, unlimited consulting arrangement, or ongoing podcast production subscription.

It does not include unlimited revisions, unlimited episodes, a full marketing campaign, extensive graphic design, daily social posting, or every service available inside our monthly plans.

You receive the core setup sprint, walkthroughs, workflow, and one produced episode described on this page.

Keeping the scope focused is what allows us to offer the Pilot for a one-time $250 payment.

The Real Reason to Start Here

You could spend the next few months researching microphones, comparing recording platforms, watching tutorials, building spreadsheets, and wondering whether you picked the right podcast host.

Or you could build the basic system, record one episode, and learn from something real.

That is the difference between planning a podcast and becoming a podcaster.

You do not need more motivation. You need the infrastructure that makes action easier.
