DFY Podcast is operated by Robert Plank / JumpX LLC. This page explains how DFYPodcast.com uses information when you browse, contact us, or ask about podcast production. For privacy questions or requests, email robert@dfypodcast.com.
Information you provide
The contact form asks for your name, email address, and message. We use those details to respond, discuss your podcast, and keep a record of the inquiry. Sending the form does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Please do not put passwords, payment-card information, or unnecessary sensitive information in your message.
If you become a customer, we also use the information and materials needed to provide the agreed service, such as contact and billing details, recordings, guest links, brand assets, production instructions, and feedback. Service agreements and checkout terms describe the relevant purchase and production arrangements.
Website operation and service providers
Hosting, security, email, and form systems process the technical information needed to operate the site and deliver messages. This can include IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, referring sites, and request times. We use these systems to maintain the website, investigate problems, and prevent spam or abuse.
Production checkout opens through ThriveCart. Information entered there is handled by that checkout and the payment services presented during purchase; do not send payment details through our contact form. See the checkout’s current terms and privacy information before purchasing. Our website terms and disclaimer are separate from this Privacy Policy.
Our pages include audio and video examples and links to other websites. Playing embedded content or visiting another site connects your browser to that provider, which may receive technical and viewing information under its own policies. Those providers can use their own cookies. We cannot remove cookies stored by a different website.
Service providers process information for hosting, delivery, administration, measurement when accepted, and requested services. Some processing may occur outside your country. We do not sell contact-form details or give them to other businesses for their independent direct marketing.
Optional website Analytics
Google Analytics is optional. The small Analytics bar lets you accept or decline; you can browse, listen, and send an inquiry either way. Before you accept, this website does not load our Google Analytics tag. You can revisit your choice using Analytics choices in the footer.
If you accept, Analytics uses first-party cookies and event information to help us understand page visits, referral sources, production-service link clicks, successful inquiries, and when someone opens a production checkout. We do not send contact-form names, email addresses, message text, or payment details as Analytics event information. An inquiry event records a successful form response, not the content of your message; opening checkout is not counted as a purchase.
RobertPlank.com and DFYPodcast.com use the same Analytics property to understand the path between Robert’s content and the production service. Analytics can connect visits across these related sites when the required permission is given. Each site stores its own browser choice. Analytics permission does not subscribe you to email, authorize advertising personalization, or enable legacy advertising pixels.
The Analytics choice lasts for up to 180 days in this browser. Our Analytics cookies are configured to expire after up to 180 days, with their lifetime renewed during accepted visits. Declining or withdrawing permission stops our Analytics tag and removes the Analytics cookies this site can access. A supported Global Privacy Control signal keeps optional Analytics off. Browser controls can also clear cookies and stored preferences.
Google processes Analytics information under its own terms and privacy policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s information about Analytics data. Podcast hosts, embedded videos, payment providers, and other services you choose to use can have separate practices described elsewhere on this page or on their websites.
Retention and your choices
We keep inquiry, service, and business records for as long as needed to handle the discussion or service, maintain appropriate business records, protect the service, and meet applicable obligations. You can contact us to ask about your information or request a correction or deletion, subject to records we need to retain. If you separately request marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in those emails to stop them.
We may update this page when our practices change. The date above identifies this version. Questions can be sent to robert@dfypodcast.com.
