For podcast hosts with a business to grow
You Worked Too Hard on Your Podcast
to Let Your Best Interviews Get Buried.
Make your best interviews easy to find. Give 100 guests a personal reason to share them. Put ten standout conversations into a published book. We handle the website, writing, research, and publishing.
One complete project. $10,000 total. Start with $5,000.
A letter from Robert Plank
Dear Podcast Host,
Think of a guest you were thrilled to book.
You did your homework. Asked good questions. Got them talking. Somewhere in that conversation, they said something you knew your audience needed to hear.
You published it, shared the link, and moved on to the next episode.
Months later, a prospect asks a question that interview answered beautifully. You remember the guest. You remember the story.
But you can't put your hands on the right link.
You promise to dig it up. The conversation moves on.
And the guest? You meant to stay in touch. Perhaps they host a show you could appear on, or ought to meet someone else you've interviewed. Now "Just checking in" feels like a weak reason to email.
You already did the hard part: you got these people to sit down and have a real conversation with you. There is still useful work those interviews can do.
Your Best Interviews Still Have Work to Do.
Imagine opening a past guest's page and finding their graphics, posts, and sharing email finished. Beside it is a personal message you can send, referring to your conversation and linking to everything you've prepared.
Or finding the right interview while a prospect is still asking the question, on a page that also shows them how to work with you.
"Here's the interview I mentioned."
"I made these for you."
"I think you two should meet."
A useful answer. A thoughtful gift. A well-chosen introduction. Each gives you a reason to reconnect that the other person can appreciate.
I'm Robert Plank, host of Marketer of the Day. I've built a searchable library, guest profiles, and sharing materials around my own interviews. The examples below come from that work.
With the DFY Podcast Website & Referral System, we'll do this for your show, then turn ten of your best interviews into a published book.
You bring the conversations. We turn them into pages people can find, messages you can send, and a book you can proudly put your name on.
1. Find the Right Interview While the Conversation Is Still Happening.
"I interviewed someone on exactly that. Let me send it to you."
We'll organize up to 500 episodes and 500 unique guests into a searchable library and directory. Five curated topic collections help visitors find useful conversations even when they don't know a guest's name.
It all lives on a complete WordPress website that explains who you help, what you offer, and how to take the next step. An older interview becomes an easy introduction to your work.

Let someone see the depth of your show without making them dig through years of episodes.
2. Give 100 Guests a Better Reason to Hear From You.
It's easier to reopen a conversation when you're bringing something useful.
We'll create 100 complete sharing kits, each with a branded page, graphics, social posts, an email the guest can share with their audience, and a captioned clip when usable footage is supplied.

Then we write the message that puts the kit in their hands: 100 personal emails for you to send, one per guest. Each has a custom subject, a specific reference to the interview, and the correct sharing-page link.
You can start with a finished message. Review it, add a personal note if you like, and send it. The follow-up templates and contact tracker help you manage replies.
One hundred finished kits. One hundred personal emails. A reason to reach out that starts with something you've done for them.

3. Find Your Next Introduction in the Guest List You Already Have.
Some past guests host podcasts. Others would be a useful guest on a show hosted by someone else you've interviewed.
The work is finding the fit and knowing what to say. Your Podcast Pitch & Guest Referral Report prepares both:
Your Turn in the Guest Chair
Relevant podcasts hosted by past guests, why their listeners could care about your expertise, and a personalized pitch with a suggested interview angle.
Make a Useful Introduction
Matches between your past guests and other guests' shows, with a reason for the fit, a permission request, and an introduction draft.
We check the evidence, record sources and review dates, and include verified public contact routes where available. You receive the report, an editable worksheet, a one-page guest pitch sheet, and a 30-day action plan.
The reason for each introduction is already researched. The first message is already drafted. You review the fit and decide who to approach.
4. Give an Interested Listener a Reason to Come Back.
A visitor enjoys an interview and thinks, "I should talk to this person." Then their phone rings.
Give them something useful to take with them.
We'll create a branded 6-10 page guide and worksheet around a problem your ideal client wants solved. We build its signup and download pages, then write, install, and test five follow-up emails in one supported email platform you already use.
A guest shares their interview. A new listener finds your guide. Your follow-up emails teach, show an example, and invite that reader to work with you. There is a next step after "Thanks for listening."
5. Hand Someone a Book Built From Your Best Conversations.
Picture the end of a good conversation with a prospect. You hand them a paperback and say, "I think you'll especially like chapter four."
Inside are the stories, useful advice, and ideas from ten of your strongest interviews. Something they can read, underline, keep, and pass along.
We adapt ten episodes into ten edited chapters and bring them together with an introduction, contributor credits, and a closing next step connected to your business. You can choose the ten, approve my recommendations, or invite past guests into the project.
For that third route, I'll guide you through a personal email campaign offering free or paid chapter participation. We prepare the invitations, follow-up copy, and reply tracker. You approve the terms, send the messages, and handle replies and any participation payments.
Think of the message: "I'm putting together a book from ten of the most useful conversations on the show. I'd like to include ours."
We handle the manuscript, cover, formatting, and publication through your accounts on Kindle, Amazon paperback, and Lulu print on demand. You approve the work and confirm the necessary permissions. Your website gets the links to the published editions.
Give Every Featured Guest a Reason to Announce the Book.
When it's published, your next message is ready: "Your chapter is live. Here is everything you need to share it."
Each of the ten featured guests has a contributor graphic, a promotional email, and a social post. You have a personalized email to deliver each kit, plus a three-email announcement sequence for your own audience with a suggested sending schedule.
You and your contributors review and send the copy. We prepare the materials and add the live edition links, so publication comes with a clear way to spread the word.
Start With Three People You Would Be Glad to Hear From.
When the project is ready, pick three past guests. Open their kits, review their personal emails, and send them. That can be your first afternoon with the finished work.
Your 90-day publishing and follow-up plan gives you and your assistant a sequence for the rest: sharing relevant interviews, approaching researched matches, and promoting the book. Record replies in your tracker and build from there.
From Your Existing Archive to Work You Can Put in Someone's Hands.
The complete project targets 8-10 weeks once required sources, access, and chapter permissions are ready. The website and core assets are built during the first six weeks.
Week 1: Pick the conversations worth bringing back.
We map your website and archive, choose the sharing-kit interviews and priority guests, and settle on your guide's topic and book's theme. You pick the ten episodes, review my recommendations, or begin the guest invitation campaign. You'll see a clear plan and any missing materials we need.
Week 2: Open your first finished example.
Review the site design, sample kit and personal email, and one adapted chapter. This is where you tell us, "That sounds like me," or, "I'd say it differently." We agree on the direction before producing the rest.
Weeks 3-4: Watch your archive and guest list come together.
Click through your working website and search the library. Your 100 sharing kits and messages take shape alongside the pitch and referral report. The ten chapters come together into a manuscript for your review and any required contributor feedback.
Weeks 5-6: Follow the path a visitor will take.
We finish the guide, install and test the subscriber emails, and review the website and assets with you. We apply consolidated feedback within the two project revision rounds, check links and mobile display, and prepare your training. You review the complete manuscript and cover direction.
Weeks 7-8: See your name on the finished cover.
We finalize the book, format the digital and print editions, and prepare the publishing details and contributor launch kits. You approve the previews, credits, pricing, and any physical proof you choose to order.
Weeks 9-10: Launch the website and publish the book.
You review the completed website, assets, and final book files. After acceptance and final payment, we launch the site and submit the editions through your publishing accounts. We follow publication, address formatting corrections, and add live book links to the site and launch materials. You receive your files, access, training, and 90-day plan.
We confirm the calendar after reviewing your sources. Guest campaign replies, contributor approvals, missing materials, physical proof delivery, and platform review can extend the target. For the invitation route, we confirm book production dates after the final ten episodes and permissions are settled. Publication follow-through remains included if platform review runs longer.
You Have Enough to Do Without Managing Another Production Project.
You could put every item below on a task list. Then you would still need to brief the work, answer questions, check the drafts, and make sure the website, guest materials, emails, and book all fit together.
For $10,000, we take responsibility for producing the complete package. You provide the sources and direction, approve the samples, and give consolidated feedback. We handle the design, research, writing, setup, and publishing.
You can spend your attention on the people you want to reach. The pages, graphics, research, and words will be ready for you.
Six parts. Built to work together.
Here's Everything You're Getting for $10,000.
The website gives your interviews a home. The guest materials help you bring people back. The guide, emails, and book give them reasons to stay connected. Here is the complete work we deliver for your show.

A Few Practical Questions
Is this a complete website, and can we use what I already have?
Yes. You get a WordPress website for one podcast with six core pages: Home, About/Host, Work With Me or Services, Speaking/Media, Contact/Booking, and Start Here. The library, guest directory, sharing pages, topic collections, and lead magnet pages are additional.
At kickoff, we review your current domain, branding, useful content, and email platform, then agree on what to keep, replace, or connect. The email setup uses one supported existing platform. Larger migrations, custom integrations, and unrelated redesigns require a separate scope.
Do I need 500 episodes or 500 different guests?
No. Those are the included indexing limits. If you have 180 episodes and 140 unique guests, we organize those. Repeat appearances link to one guest entry.
The full set of sharing kits requires 100 usable guest interviews. We choose them around the guests you want to reconnect with, your current offer, and conversations that still help your audience. You approve the list before production.
The $10,000 is the fixed price for the complete project. Additional indexing beyond 500 episodes or 500 unique guests can be quoted separately.
What source material do you need?
Send your podcast archive or feed, available recordings or transcripts, guest information, approved branding and photos, your current offer, and booking details. We arrange appropriate website, email, and publishing access at kickoff.
Available episode information and links support the archive entries. Accurate quotations, chapter adaptations, and interview-specific emails need usable recordings or transcripts; clips need usable footage. We review sources and flag gaps before production. Extensive transcription and source recovery are outside this package.
What's in each sharing kit, and how personal are the emails?
Each kit contains a branded page with the episode and available video links, one episode graphic, two quote graphics, two social posts, one promotional email for the guest's audience, and one captioned clip of up to 60 seconds when usable footage is supplied.
Your separate delivery email has a custom subject, a specific reference to that interview, and the guest's kit link. You approve the voice with the sample, then receive editable copy you can review and send. The two follow-up templates and contact tracker help you manage replies.
How much research is included in the directory and referral report?
The directory covers up to 500 unique guests from available sources, with deeper current research on 25 priority people.
The report develops supported opportunities in both directions: shows hosted by past guests that you could pitch, and past guests who could fit another guest's show. Each recommendation includes fit, an angle, sources, review date, a draft message, and next steps. Verified public contact routes are included where available; the number of credible matches depends on your guest list.
Your one-page guest pitch sheet includes your bio, approved headshot, three interview topics, suggested questions, verified credentials or experience, two or three past interviews, and booking or contact details.
Who sends the emails and handles the replies?
You or your team send the guest emails, pitches, introduction requests, book invitations, and book announcements from your own accounts. Guests choose whether to use their promotional materials. We prepare the copy and research; managed outreach is a separate service.
The five subscriber emails are installed and tested in your email platform so people who request the guide can receive that sequence. For introductions, we supply a permission request before the introduction draft.
How do we choose the book's episodes, and can guests pay to participate?
Choose your ten favorites, approve my recommendations, or use the guided personal invitation campaign. The episodes should fit a useful theme for your reader and can come from the same interviews used for sharing kits.
You decide whether participation is free or paid. We prepare invitations, follow-up copy, and a reply tracker. A paid invitation states the fee, what the guest receives, review process, and expected schedule. You approve the terms, send the emails, collect payments, and manage participant commitments.
If a guest declines, we help select another suitable episode. Campaign replies and contributor approvals can affect the book schedule.
Do guests have to write chapters, and what book files do I receive?
We write and edit the chapters from the selected interviews. Before full production, we agree on the final ten episodes, manuscript length, and structure. You supply usable sources and confirm the permissions and contributor approvals needed to publish.
You receive ten edited chapters, an introduction, contributor credits, a closing next step, an editable manuscript, one cover design adapted for digital and print, a Kindle-ready ebook, and print-ready interior and cover files for Amazon KDP and Lulu.
You approve a sample chapter, the full manuscript, cover, credits, description, and pricing. The book shares the project's two revision rounds. New interviews, extra chapters, or a substantially expanded manuscript require a separate scope.
Do you handle publication and the book launch materials?
Yes. We publish through your Amazon KDP account for Kindle and paperback and your Lulu account for print on demand. We prepare the description, credits, categories and keywords where supported, approved pricing, uploads, and preview checks. We correct the files we prepared and follow submissions through publication, subject to platform review. Royalties go through your publishing accounts.
Each of the ten contributors gets a graphic, promotional email, and social post for you to deliver with their personalized "your chapter is live" email. Your three-email host announcement sequence includes a suggested sending schedule. We add live edition links to the materials and your website as they become available.
The book launch materials are additional to the 100 episode sharing kits, the contributor invitation campaign, and the five installed subscriber emails.
How much of my time will this take?
You provide sources and direction, approve the samples, and give consolidated feedback through one decision maker. For the book, you also confirm contributor permissions and approve the manuscript and publishing details. We handle the production.
You or your assistant then use the finished outreach materials and handle replies. The 8-10 week project outline shows when we'll need your review; we confirm the calendar after checking your sources and book selection route.
How do revisions and support work?
You approve the sample direction before full production. We check names, claims, and quotations against the sources and use your feedback to settle the voice and design.
Two revision rounds across the project cover changes within scope. Before launch, we check the agreed deliverables and resolve the agreed corrections. After launch, 30 days of correction support cover defects in the delivered work. New features and expanded campaigns are quoted separately.
Will this bring me clients, podcast bookings, or book sales?
The package gives you finished work to use in those conversations: relevant interviews to share, personal guest emails, researched approaches, a subscriber sequence, and a published book with launch materials.
Clients, bookings, traffic, guest participation, shares, referrals, and sales depend on your offer, audience, relationships, and follow-through, plus other people's decisions. A particular result or financial return is not guaranteed.
How do payments work, and are there separate costs?
The complete project is $10,000. Choose full payment or the $5,000 kickoff option, followed by two $2,500 approval milestones shown in the order section. Later payments are invoiced at those milestones, with the final balance due before launch and book submission. Publication follow-through remains included afterward. Credit cards through Stripe and PayPal are accepted.
Hosting, your domain, required paid software, printed books or proofs, shipping, and optional purchased ISBNs or paid third-party assets are separate. We confirm those costs before you order them. Optional care is not added at checkout.
Can my team run this, or do I need the $300/month care plan?
Your team can run it. You receive administrator access, the indexed data export, editable book manuscript and final files, recorded training, and written instructions. The walkthrough covers updating entries, using the kits and tracker, and acting on the report. Your hosting, domain, and required software need to remain active.
Optional $300/month care includes WordPress and plugin updates, backup checks, basic form and link checks, up to four new episodes and four associated basic guest profiles per month, up to 30 minutes of minor corrections or support, and a completion report.
Deeper research, report refreshes, new sharing campaigns, and managed outreach are separate. If you already have a DFY Podcast production plan, we check its written archive allowance to avoid charging twice for the same work.
What am I paying $10,000 for? Could my assistant handle it?
You're paying for the completed project: a website and organized archive, 100 guest kits with personal emails, researched pitches and referrals, an installed subscriber sequence, and a published book with launch materials. The price covers the production and the work of making those parts fit together.
Your assistant can help gather sources, coordinate feedback, and use the finished materials. If they produce the package themselves, they would need time for the design, writing, research, setup, editing, and publishing. Here, you review samples and completed work at agreed stages, then receive the files, access, and training to run it with your team.
Make the Next "I Should Follow Up" Easy to Act On.
Think back to that guest you were thrilled to book.
The conversation still exists. Next time their name comes up, you could have their sharing page open, their graphics ready, and their personal email waiting for your review.
You could send the interview a prospect needs while they're still thinking about the problem. Or hand them a book built from ten of your best conversations.
The interview is already recorded. The relationship has already begun. Let's give you something useful to do with both.
Choose your payment option and start your Podcast Website & Referral System. Your welcome page will guide you through sending us your show.
To your next conversation,
Robert Plank
DFY Podcast & Marketer of the Day
P.S. Picture opening one past guest's folder and finding the graphics finished, the sharing page ready, and the personal email written. Then picture having that for 100 guests. Start with $5,000 and let's get it built.
